Recommendations
I write this letter of recommendation willingly and with much excitement regarding the skills and talents of one of my employees, Mr. Dell Barnes. Mr. Barnes has been a member of the Brooksville Elementary School staff for the past 7 years, and in this capacity, I have had many opportunities to view and benefit from Dell’s incredible artistic and motivational talents.
Mr. Barnes is not only a mentor and motivating individual to my students here at BES, but he has utilized his caring nature and speaking abilities to support, mentor, and motivate my staff as well. No matter how troublesome the day or how dark the situation, Mr. Barnes is always ready with uplifting conversations and words of hope. Mr. Barnes sees the good in all people and all situations. He empowers my “at risk” students to rise to new heights both behaviorally and academically. He is also always there when some of these very same “at risk” students fail. In these cases, Mr. Barnes spends time with them reviewing their behaviors, setting goals for future success, and motivating my students to believe that they can and will be successful.
In addition to his uplifting and motivating personality, Mr. Barnes is probably one of the most talented and gifted musicians I have ever met. The music he produces with his saxophone never fails to move an audience, both old and young alike. Many times, I have asked him at the last minute to entertain a group musically, and he walks right in and “wows” the audience without having had any warning or practice. He is truly amazing!
In summary, Mr. Barnes has been a wonderful addition to our BES campus and he utilizes his skills to assist, motivate, and entertain faculty, staff, students and parents alike. He is an amazingly talented and gifted individual!Sincerely,
Mary Vaujin LeDoux
